Holy Wednesday

As we come to a close of our Lenten Journey, may each of us soak in the final graces of this special time with Christ. As we step closer with Christ during His final days, may we be reminded of those Disciples that were especially close to Jesus. They each wanted nothing more than to be in His presence.

The journey is not over and there is still time to fulfill our own Lenten promises and resolutions.

Dream Destination: Weekend Getaway

It has been one of those weeks, and it isn't even over yet. I am in much need of a "Weekend Getaway."

Location: Connecticut - a Bed and Breakfast

Reason: I have never been to Connecticut and from what I have heard of this state it is very quaint. I need a little quaintness in my life at this moment. And the perfect place to feel quaint is in a B&B.

Appeal: Staying at a B&B will give me the feel of "home" with the appeal of being on a "getaway."

Take a Breath

As the Lenten Season comes to a close, you may be thinking to yourself, "I haven't really spent any time this Lent truly reflecting and preparing for Easter." I ask that today, you take a breath and truly give yourself a good 10 minutes to at least get today in order. Let today be a great Lenten Journey!

LUMP

A very dear friend recommended a short video for me to watch and I found it online. It's called "LUMP" and it's put on by a company called NOOMA. This short film is sharing the message of unconditional love, guilt, hiding and most importantly that no matter what each one of us has done, there is nothing in our past that would make God love us any less...Nothing. I highly encourage you to watch this 10 minute video found on youtube.

Solemnity of St. Joseph

Saint Joseph was a just man, a tireless worker, the upright guardian of those entrusted to his care. May he always guard, protect and enlighten familes.

It's The Little Things

Seriously, one of the highlights of my day was eating my McDonald's Fruit 'n Yogurt Parfait. For $1 I was able to turn my day from great to fantastic! This has become my current obsession! I even bought one for the other girls in the office so that we all could share in the enjoyment! I hope you have a day that goes from good to awesome too...maybe you should try a parfait. :)
